The results are in! Macquarie Park’s favourite coffee is…
In January, we asked Macquarie Park people to spill the beans on the best coffee around, by participating in Connect MPID’s annual Coffee Poll.
Our poll racked-up a record-breaking pool of participants, putting coffee loyalties to the test and pushing results to the wire.
Exciting news! We’ve ground the numbers, filtered the insights and poured out the results in our new 2024 Macquarie Park Coffee Guide.
So, without further ado (drumroll please!), here are your winners…
This year we’ve segmented your favourite Macquarie Park and North Ryde coffee hotspots into three localities - to help us share the love (even more) with our local baristas:
Macquarie University’s favourite coffee: Cult Eatery (Wally’s Walk)
North Ryde’s go-to-brew: Leaf Cafe & Co (Halifax Street)
Macquarie Park innovation district’s top drop: Batch ZKK (Optus Drive)
Special commendation to Ben and the team at Bluestone Espresso who currently aren’t publicly accessible due to building works, but still maintain a huge fanbase and topped the poll again! Bluestone will be open to the public again soon - keep an eye out.
In terms of our respondents’ drink of choice, voting got pretty heated! Ultimately the trusty cappuccino secured a win for the second year running – but the flat white put up a fight, with only a few votes in it.
Caffeination drives innovation - here in Macquarie Park innovation district, we’re lucky to be fuelled by 90+ restaurants, bars and cafes.
