Connect MPID publishes 3rd Annual Impact Report

Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District (Connect MPID) has published its 3rd Annual Report covering the key activities and impacts for the 2023-24 financial year.

Key highlights included:

  • 2023 Ask Macquarie Park Survey had its highest participation with over 2,300 responses, a 30% increase.

  • Increased focus on promoting Macquarie Park which saw total subscriber audience grew 45% to more than 6,700 people who follow our work from Macquarie Park and beyond.

  • Attendance at over 290 ecosystem stakeholder meetings.

  • Proud event partner for United Way’s Macquarie Park Walkathon and Community Cup in 2023/24, sponsoring and supporting moments to bring our community together.

  • A total of 3 Innovator case studies highlighting innovative Macquarie Park startups

  • Induction into the new Innovation Districts Alliance at the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovations’ (IASP) World Congress in Luxembourg in September 2023.

  • Advocacy into the Macquarie Park Stage 1 Rezoning Proposal and NSW Innovation Blueprint consultation.

The report was ratified at the Associations’s recent Annual General Meeting, held at Optus.

Dr Rob Stokes, Chair of our Board of Directors, confirmed Connect MPID's focus:
