CSIRO is excited to announce the launch of its 'Innovate to Grow' food innovation program, starting on September 12, 2024. Over the past four years, this program has empowered more than 600 Small to Medium Enterprises (SME), providing them with the essential knowledge and tools to advance their research and development (R&D) initiatives. 

This comprehensive, 10-week online program is designed to support SMEs in transforming innovative concepts into actionable research and development projects. Participants will benefit from a self-paced learning platform, valuable researcher connections, networking opportunities, guest speaker insights, and expert feedback—all at no cost. 

The course will step you through how to: 

• refine your innovation challenge question 

• assess the viability of your innovation 

• build your R&D business case 

• prepare a strong R&D funding application 

Who can attend? 

Participants based and operating in Australia who are working on food innovations. This can be in any sub-sector including: 

• Beverage manufacturing 

• Food production 

• Traditional and complementary proteins 

• Bio-manufacturing incl. precision fermentation 

• Sustainable processing 

• Value-adding processing 

• Other
