Did somebody say, Menulog?

Menulog, one of Australia’s favourite food delivery services, has announced 500 new jobs that will call Macquarie Park home.

Relocating from their Sydney CBD headquarters, the company said their new Macquarie Park office will house their customer service representatives and business support staff. Menulog has reportedly seen growth of 134% over the 12 months to June for online food orders, leading to the creation of the new office-based jobs.

Menulog Managing Director, ANZ, Morten Belling, said

“As a company that started here in Sydney, Australia, we’re proud to be able to create more than 500 new local jobs, in a crucial time for the Australian economy.”

“We look forward to continuing to grow our local team and creating avenues for these employees to also grow with our business. Australia represents the fastest growing market for our parent company, Just Eat Takeaway, as we’ve experienced triple digit order growth year on year. We have strong ambitions to accelerate this upward trend and this additional investment in customer and restaurant service plays an important role in this, as well as supporting the post-pandemic recovery of Australia’s economy.”

Minister for Digital and Customer Service, Victor Dominello, believes that job creation is top of the list as our state reopens.

“This is great for NSW and great for Ryde and once again underlines the opportunities Macquarie Park has to offer for smart businesses.”

Since 2015 Menulog has been part of the global Just Eat Group, allowing it to tap into world-class innovation that has helped them grow at such an exponential pace. By bringing their headquarters to Macquarie Park, Menulog will be surrounded by other innovation-lead organisations as part of Australia’s original innovation district.
