Defence Innovation Network comes to Macquarie Park

Defence Innovation Network and Macquarie University are inviting the defence and science community to their next Industry Forum focused on Biotechnology, Gene Technology & Vaccines.

Hosted by Macquarie University, the forum will explore questions like what the defence industry can learn from COVID-19, gene therapy and the biotech industry. Representatives of Macquarie Park's medtech and pharmaceutical industries will be taking part in the discussion considering this and other frontiers in the future of defence innovation.

The event will also showcase NSW’s outstanding innovations presented by universities and industry in specific areas of interest.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from Defence Science and Technology GroupDMTC and the Australian Defence Force.

The Defence Innovation Network is a university-led initiative supported by the NSW Government and seven NSW Universities aimed at facilitating engagement between research groups that produce technologies relevant to defence, and the defence industry.
