Artist workshop, 12 March, Eden Gardens

EVENT DATE

12 March

TIME

2:00pm - 4:30pm

LOCATION

Eden Gardens, 307 Lane Cove Road

Join Eden Unearthed artist Christina Frank to craft your own small clay bird sculpture. Profits raised go to the NSW Cancer Council

Artists Michelle Perrett and Christina Frank have made a work for Eden Unearthed which celebrates small native birds in our environment, but also considers their vulnerability.

In this garden workshop join Christina as we take a walk, look and listen for birds, and see their installation, 'Small Bird'. Inspired by this we will draw some small bird species, then make our own sculptures of small birds out of clay to take home. Bring: an apron or wear an old shirt.

The workshop is followed by an afternoon tea, and Curator's Tour through the exhibition.

March 2022 will see the most significant in-person return of students and business people to Macquarie Park since the start of the global pandemic. Connect Macquarie Innovation District’s Macquarie Park is OPEN campaign will welcome everyone back by highlighting Macquarie Park’s amenity, creating moments to bring people together, and boosting confidence across the Park.
