Macquarie Square and Catherine Hamlin Park (Waterloo Road)

Also on Waterloo Road, new Connect MPID member John Holland have announced plans for Stage 2 of Macquarie Square - two buildings called The Stockmarket and Central House, injecting an additional 50,000sqm of A-grade net lettable area into our district. More info.

The new employment centres will surround the sweeping 7,000sqm Catherine Hamlin Park - the largest new green space to be built in Macquarie Park - to be delivered by the City of Ryde Council.

Midtown Mac Park (Herring Road)

Herring Road upgrades

Transport for NSW have almost finished their works to upgrade Herring Road, connecting Epping Road and Waterloo Road with future capacity. The two-year project is almost complete, and has created new bus lanes and signal controlled intersections. Project update.

Macquarie University new Law School

Macquarie University is building a bespoke Law School on campus, with cutting edge construction techniques retaining and recycling significant elements of the old faculty facility.

Named after former Macquarie Chancellor, The Hon Michael Kirby, the new Law School will include unique commercial space where industry partners can work alongside staff and the legal practitioners of the future. Look out for the red cranes looming over Wally’s Walk in the coming months as construction accelerates! Discover more.
