St John Ambulance joins Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District!

Leading first aid training and medical equipment provider, St John Ambulance NSW, is the latest organisation to join Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District as a member. 

St John is a for-purpose organisation – with all profits going towards training and equipping first aid and medical volunteers in local communities, as well as running free education programs to teach first aid skills and give people the confidence to help save a life. St John has a proud legacy of over 140 years of service to the Australian community, providing first aid at local events and during emergencies like floods and bushfires.

 St John can deliver high quality training, equipment, event medical and workplace health services across NSW and nationally. With their arrival in the heart of this vibrant innovation district, St John are looking to strengthen collaboration with local businesses and organisations in the Macquarie Park area.

 St John Ambulance NSW CEO, Dominic Teakle, spoke about the new location:

Their new headquarters at 12 Lyonpark Road marks an exciting new chapter in their work of keeping communities safe and partnering with the wider Macquarie Park Business community. The facility houses St John’s corporate headquarters and has been designed to also consolidate an array of other operations under the one roof including: 

  • Public and corporate first aid training rooms, including a dedicated mental health first aid training room

  • Retail space for product and equipment purchases

  • Operations hub and radio communications room for emergencies and major events deployments

St John Ambulance is here to support physical and mental wellbeing in the workplace, with workplace assessments and compliance checks, equipment restocking, and First Aid training. We have a full suite of services designed to help workplaces stay compliant with Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
