From prototype to production: applications for CSIRO’s zero-cost pre-accelerator program at Lindfield open now
Do you have a new idea for a hardware-focused startup? Connect@Lindfield, the CSIRO Lindfield Collaboration Hub’s pre-accelerator program for advanced manufacturing and hardware start-ups and SME’s, is now accepting applications for 2023.
Designed to support the development of deep tech and hardware manufacturing in New South Wales, Connect@Lindfield participants will exploit CSIRO’s research facilities in Lindfield and plug in to local technical advice, industry coaches and mentors.
Six face-to-face sessions over eight weeks will help participants understand the journey from prototype to production, while growing their commercial idea.
Katie Green, Group Leader, Manufacturing at the Linfield Hub, is excited about bringing this program to life again next year.
“Connect@Lindfield brings startups who plan to manufacture hardware into the CSIRO’s Collaboration Hub at their Lindfield campus, just across the river from Macquarie Park.”
“It’s a zero cost, eight-week pre accelerator experience that will give you business knowledge, connections and technical expertise to help grow your product and commercialise your big idea.”
“Specifically designed for advanced manufacturing and hardware startups and SMEs, previous participants have included a robotics, medical devices and energy storage technologies.”
Led by expert facilitators and mentors, program participants will also have access to the technical specialists and scientists who call the CSIRO home. Applications close on Sunday 27 November.
