Macquarie Park welcomes Crowne Plaza Sydney to the innovation district!

Crowne Plaza Sydney Macquarie Park marks a new chapter in Macquarie Park, rebranding from the former Courtyard by Marriott, Sydney North-Ryde. This transition to the Crowne Plaza brand by IHG introduces a premium offering that enhances the guest experience, combining modern amenities with tailored services for both business and leisure travellers.

Conveniently located near key business hubs, premier shopping, dining, and outdoor attractions, the hotel offers easy access to the new Metro line, providing a 15-minute ride to Sydney’s city centre.

The hotel’s 196 rooms are being reimagined to provide comfortable and flexible spaces for all guests. Equipped with advanced in-room technology, including 55-inch Smart TVs, the rooms will soon feature skincare products from Antipodes, reflecting the hotel’s commitment to a contemporary, elevated experience.

With 259 sqm of flexible event space across six rooms, Crowne Plaza Sydney Macquarie Park caters to everything from small board meetings to large receptions. On-site experts, outdoor BBQ options, and bespoke catering ensure that every event is executed seamlessly. The first phase of the hotel’s design upgrades also focuses on enhancing these meeting and event areas.

The hotel is committed to sustainability, actively reducing waste by eliminating single-use items and implementing a ‘prevent, donate, divert’ strategy to minimise food waste as part of IHG’s global responsible travel program.

Under the leadership of Portfolio General Manager Tom Marsic and Hotel Manager Toby Paul, the hotel embraces its rebrand:

“Operational excellence will be at the forefront of everything we do, as we focus  on creating a service standard that our hotel owners, guests, team and community are proud of.” says Toby Paul.

As Macquarie Park continues to grow and evolve, Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District  welcomes these changes and looks forward to collaborating with Crowne Plaza and its team to further enhance the area’s dynamic appeal.
