World Hearing Day 2025 at Macquarie University
Macquarie Park is a hub for hearing health innovation, bringing together leading researchers, healthcare providers, and technology developers dedicated to improving ear and hearing care.
Home to the Australian Hearing Hub, the district is at the forefront of advancements in hearing research, audiology, speech pathology, and related fields. As hearing loss becomes a growing concern, with one in four Australians predicted to experience it by 2050, Macquarie Park is playing a key role in raising awareness and fostering collaboration to address this important issue.
World Hearing Day 2025 provides an opportunity to highlight these efforts and empower those individuals with lived experiences.
For World Hearing day, Macquarie University is hosting a must-attend event on March 3rd to raise awareness about hearing care and empower individuals to make ear and hearing care a reality for all.
The event will feature panel discussions with people living with age-related hearing loss, offering firsthand accounts of their experiences. Attendees can also participate in hearing screenings, ask audiologists questions, and enjoy a social BBQ lunch. With a focus on public engagement, this year’s event is all about shifting mindsets and fostering a more inclusive society for those affected by hearing loss.
Set in the Australian Hearing Hub, Macquarie Park’s innovation district is home to leading researchers, technology providers, and service organisations working to improve hearing care. This is an event not to be missed!
