The Institute offers deep expertise in sleep science, circadian rhythms, molecular biology, airway physiology, and more—providing an ideal environment for collaborative research projects and innovation.
The Woolcock Clinic has 11 consultation rooms which are available for clinical trials. The Clinic provides treatment for a wide range of conditions, including sleep disorders (e.g., snoring, OSA, insomnia, narcolepsy) and respiratory issues (e.g., asthma, COPD, chronic cough), alongside allergies, endocrine disorders (e.g., diabetes, obesity), and dental care for sleep problems.
This clinical care is open to the public and runs alongside their research opportunities. The NeuroSleep Clinic also delivers integrated support for patients with conditions like Parkinson’s, dementia, and mental health disorders.
The Sleep Lab has 11 bedrooms, 5 bedrooms with an additional bed for parents/carers. The bedrooms can be used as comfortable spaces for patient/participant observation in clinical trials. The Lab also has specialised bedrooms with ability for 24-hour infusions or blood collection.

Partners can also access the Woolcock's PC2 labs which include dedicated cell and tissue culture workspaces and benches for lab work along with pathogen containment facility and dedicated rooms for DNA and RNA work.
