Here comes the future: inspiring MPEXPO speakers announced!

We’re thrilled to announce the keynote speakers for MPEXPO - Macquarie Park’s major innovation showcase taking place on Banfield Road on Wednesday 25 May.

With tech demos, food trucks, live music, entertainment and more, MPEXPO is free to attend, and a great opportunity to get your team back together for some quality time in the heart of Macquarie Park!

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS

Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District is excited to welcome Michael McQueen as keynote speaker at MPEXPO.

Michael is a multi-award winning speaker, trend forecaster and best selling author of nine books. With clients including KPMG, Pepsi and Cisco, he has helped some of the world’s most successful brands navigate disruption and maintain momentum.

Michael’s energetic and thought-provoking morning session, Here comes the future, will highlight how to survive disruption in a changing world, and including his well known commentary on future trends.

Following his talk, Michael will be joined on stage by industry leaders from some of Macquaire Park’s leading organisations for a panel discussion about navigating and thriving through disruption.

INNOVATION CAN CHANGE THE WORLD!

Our next speaker will be Katerina Kimmorley, founder of Pollinate Energy and a member of the NSW Net Zero Emissions and Clean Economy Board. Katerina will share some of her story - from start up to international entrepreneur - as well as her views on why cleantech counts in innovation.

Katerina will lead a very special panel discussion packed with local inspiration on how and why innovation can change the world.

WHAT NEXT FOR YOUR WORKPLACE?

Closing the day will be one of Australia’s most-loved broadcasters, James O’Loughlin.

James is best known as the host of over 300 episodes of ABC TV’s The New Inventors and his witty and entertaining programs on ABC radio.

James’ session will look at how we can strengthen Macquarie Park as an innovation hub as well as how the atmosphere and culture of a working environment can stimulate an innovative mindset.

Lastly, James will be joined on stage by local leaders who will share what they’re doing to boost engagement and company culture now lockdown restrictions have eased.
