Macquarie Park continues to attract business investment: Axis Communications, Toshiba and Hyundai Capital grow

Macquarie Park, Australia’s original innovation district continues to be a destination of choice for corporate and innovation business expansion.

Axis Communications, a leading network technology company focussed on security and communications systems, is set to become the newest addition to Stockland’s MPark development later this year.

MPark stage 1 is delivering over 62,000 square metres of commercial space and 2,500 square metres of open space.

Frank Ianni, Development Director at Stockland, said MPark tenants, like Axis Communications and WiSE Medical, Audika and CHEP already occupying their new offices at 11 Khartoum Road can anticipate a seamless transition into a thriving ecosystem:

“With one hundred percent of MPark Stage 1 either complete or under construction, the precinct will consist of three state-of-the-art workplace buildings at 11, 15, and 17 Khartoum Road. Construction remains on track for completion in 2025, signifying a significant milestone in MPark's journey towards fostering innovation,” said Mr Ianni.

Toshiba and Hyundai Capital have also announced their move into the brand-new Array building at 1 Eden Park Drive.  The building by Melbourne developer, Kador Group spans 11,051 square meters across six levels, featuring two ground floor retail tenancies.

The financial services unit of Hyundai Motor Group has leased 1,271 square metres of the building, occupying the top floor.  Toshiba will also join the building, residing in the entire first floor and part of the second, taking up 2,800 square metres of the building,

These moves signify the significance of Macquarie Park as a prime destination for industry, set amongst a dynamic innovation ecosystem.  With the upcoming extension of the Sydney Metro which will extend the 30-minute talent catchment and an array of innovative neighbours, Macquarie Park is a prime location for business and innovation.
