Macquarie University is starting their day with their ‘Wear it Purple’ annual event.
This annual "Wear It Purple" event empowers LGBTQIA+ youth to dream big and share “Your Passion, Your Pride.” It features a lively fun run (or walk, stroll) around the campus’s picturesque 2.5 km loop, with optional game checkpoints along the way. It’s a fantastic opportunity to celebrate unity and diversity.
Enjoy live music, refreshments, and prize announcements at Ubar afterward.
After the Colour the Campus event, you can continue the celebration at the Twilight Market, running from 3 PM to 7:30 PM.
Think French crepes, Korean street food, mini pancakes: there’s something to satisfy every craving!
Then visit the face painting or giant bubble stations, all while immersing yourself in the vibrant community atmosphere.
Finish with shopping local artisan goods and crafts!
