Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District launches Sustainability Series

Connect Macquarie Park Innovation District was proud to host the first session of the Macquarie Park Sustainability Series, bringing together business leaders, sustainability professionals, and academics to explore the strategic value of climate reporting.

The session focused on the upcoming requirements for mandatory climate reporting and how organisations can turn compliance into an opportunity to strengthen their sustainability positioning.

We were joined by a panel of experts from Gilbert + Tobin, BWD, Tata Consultancy Services and Macquarie University, who shared legal, strategic and academic perspectives on climate reporting and the integration of climate risk into business planning.

Attendees engaged in thoughtful discussion and made the most of the opportunity to connect with peers. The session provided not only valuable insights but also excellent networking, with conversations continuing well after the presentations.

This session marks the beginning of a broader series focused on sustainability leadership, innovation, and collaboration. Planning is already underway for future events—stay tuned.
