MQU hosting Soundfair's Unheard Stories Film Festival

Macquarie University is playing host to the Sydney screening of Soundfair's Unheard Stories Film Festival. Unheard Stories spotlights Deaf and Hard of Hearing story tellers to celebrate the diversity of lived experience.

The program includes a documentary work from Samuel Martin, a short film on the experiences of Cochlear implant recipients, and We Hear You, winner of Best Film on Disability at Cannes World Film Festival 2021.

Macquarie Park is home to a number of organisations who specialise in hearing science including Cochlear, the Australian Hearing Hub, and soon to be home to NextSense (formally Royal Institute of Deaf and Blind Children)

This event is made possible with the support of Macquarie University Hearing, the Australian Hearing Hub and Soundfair. All funds raised from ticket sales go back to Soundfair.
