WiSE Introduces Compassionate Early Pregnancy Assessment Service in Macquarie Park

WiSE Medical, located in the Macquarie Park innovation district aim to provide a better environment for both patients and health care workers to receive and provide specialist care.   

Since opening in 2017, WiSE have provided a range of innovative services for their patients including serving 3,000 patients in the month of June, a record number of patients and an average of a 15 minute wait time.

On the 4th of July, WiSE announced their exciting launch of their new Early Pregnancy Assessment Service which is designed to provide caring and comprehensive support to women during the early stages of pregnancy. 

This initiative aims to address common emergency presentations such as bleeding and pain, offering timely diagnostics and expert guidance to ensure peace of mind for expectant mothers. 

Dr. Pankaj Arora, CEO of WiSE, underscored the service's importance, stating: 

"Navigating early pregnancy can be overwhelming, especially when faced with common concerns like bleeding or pain. Our service is designed to provide reassurance and prompt care. With all ultrasounds and blood tests bulk billed and results available on the day, we aim to support families and pregnant women." 

WiSE's commitment to patient-centred care ensures a supportive environment where women can receive personalised attention and expert medical advice. By addressing emergency presentations such as ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage with efficiency and compassion, the Early Pregnancy Assessment Service at Macquarie Park sets a new standard in accessible healthcare.  

This new service will also allow for the full range of treatment options for early pregnancy complications such as same day admission for D+C, medical management or expectant management.  

To access the service a referral from your GP is required or present to the WiSE Emergency clinic from 10am – 10pm 7 days a week.
