A 20-year plan to transform Macquarie Park into a world-leading innovation district - with 20,000 additional jobs in the pipeline - has been approved by the NSW Government.

The event brought together business leaders and Government Affairs representatives from health, tech, development, academia and small business to hear about Mr Laxale’s first 100 days in Parliament, and the shared challenges and opportunities facing our area.

Leaders from across Sydney gathered in the city today for an industry and government briefing that shared insights from Macquarie Park as an evolving innovation district - and an enormous opportunity.

From the number of residents, to household incomes - initial results from the 2021 Australian Census reveal how our area is changing: including a significant increase in the number of people who now call our innovation district home.
